It was good to get back to work after the half term break.  I've started a new large painting with an increased focus on the empty chair.

Week 18

I've been working hard on this painting all week.   So far I've taken over 100 images as I'm painting which I'll put together in a film when the piece is finished.  I did the same thing for a drawing which you can follow this link to see - The Process of a Drawing

Week 17

Since the start of the year I've been finishing things off from last term.  This week it was nice to start afresh and begin a couple of new, large paintings.

Some figure studies for a new painting.  Working a bit from the mirror and a bit from the imagination.
