Week 30

It was good to get back into some drawing after a couple of weeks preparing for the LSA Alumni Exhibition.  I made a new clay figure which I made several studies of in view of starting two new paintings next week.

Hanging the Show

I spent this week hanging the LSA Alumni Show at Dovecot Studios.  I was very pleased with how my six pieces looked and I received lots of encouraging feedback on the opening night.  The show continues until the 31st May and I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Alumni Exhibition

This week I did an extra day teaching in the school and prepared my work for the Alumni Exhibition which opens next week.  I have six pieces in the show representing work I've done on the residency.  Please come along on Thursday night if you are in Edinburgh.

Week 27

I managed to sneek into the school for a few days during the Easter holidays.  I was unhappy with the large piece I've been working on this past term so I completely reworked it... again and again.

Week 24
