| The first in a series of small clay figure paintings (roughly A3 size). It's a relief to drop down in scale after wrestling with big paintings last term. This piece took me one day compared to several weeks working on my 'Empty Chair' paintings. |

HI Craig. Lil here. Just been checking out your blog and am so totally impressed with your work, your processes, your energy. So much to learn from looking at this...especially your sketchbook pages. Wow. Can see why you keep going on at me to rework stuff. Lesson learnt...or at least absorbed (I've yet to gain your courage!)
